AECG is a community of companies founded in 1991 by CEO Alan Ett, which has been focused on the establishment of strong relationships in the production community as a provider of a wide range of services and products.

Alan EttAlan Ett, Chairman and CEO of AECG - The company that he founded in 1991 focused on building deep and long-lasting relationships in the production community by providing a wide range of services and products. With a prolific career encompassing creative, production and technical skill, Ett’s entrepreneurship and involvement in the music industry is far-reaching. He has composed and produced thousands of hours of music for television, video, film, commercials, CD ROMs and DVDs. In addition, he helped devise the first shock mounted 20MB hard disc, the A-O20, and served as a consultant with the Roland Corporation on the development of the first MIDI software, the MPS or Music Processing System. A faculty member of Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music, Ett was co-founder of what has emerged as the internationally significant Berklee Jazz Choir and Vocal program. The many boards on which Ett serves include the Board of Directors for the non-profit Artist House Music, the Board of Trustees of the Society of Singers, and the Board of Trustees of The New England Conservatory of Music. Ett is a member of BMI, ATAS and NARAS.

Jonathan AxelrodJonathan Axelrod, President of AECG - His prolific background in the film and television community includes Emmy and Cable Ace Award winning films such as Jericho Mile, Friendly Fire and Against the Wall. As an independent producer, Axelrod’s highly successful sitcoms include Dave’s World (CBS), Can’t Hurry Love (CBS), Brother’s Keeper (ABC), Movie Stars (WB) and Some of My Best Friends (CBS). Axelrod’s prior positions include Vice President of ABC-TV Prime Time, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Production, Columbia Television, and President of New World Pictures.

Scott LiggettScott Liggett, SVP Creative/Production of AECG - He began working with Alan Ett in 1987, and in 1991 became co-founder of AECG’s first company, Alan Ett Music Group. He has composed and produced hundreds of hours of music for television, advertising and film. Liggett was awarded an Emmy for his work with Robert Goulet on ESPN’s NCAA Men’s College Basketball Championship campaign. For two consecutive years he was tapped as a music producer for a total of 16 comedy spots for Priceline.com featuring William Shatner. Again for two years, Scott was hired as Music Director for the NFL Network’s award-winning Super Bowl commercials. Liggett co-composed and produced the music for the headline show “Centered In The Universe,” which played at the Samuel Ochin Planetarium at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. Scott primarily focuses on creative, production and new business developments for the AECG companies.

Angie CalderonAngie Calderon, Controller of AECG - With over 20 years of experience in public accounting and taxation, Angie brings to AECG her vast experience and knowledge in financial and management reporting. As Controller she provides the dynamic leadership to the financial and accounting team of the ever-progressive AECG group. Responsible for the daily financial operations and reporting, Angie ensures the integrity of financial information that supports management’s decision making. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, she spent seven years in the private banking industry, followed by 15 years in public accounting, joining AECG in 2006.
